Satyrs are woodland creatures.  The only thing that distinguishes them as different from all other species is their abnormal desire for sex and temporary pleasure.  Entire clans of satyrs will die out as a result of an over-emphasis of fun.  Resources that are needed to sustain life are expended for amusement.  Satyrs that are fat and full have died from malnutrition.  Sexually transmitted diseases that would normally come and go in other species remain and stay with the satyrs.  Occasionally a satyr will be born that has the amount of self control that it takes to lead a happy life.  Eventually this satyr will understand the foolishness of his species and leave to live a solitary life.

Satyrs are not violent creatures.  They are just basically stupid.  They will not attack adventurers.  Instead they will invite them to their parties.  Satyr parties are fun.  They know the most interesting and involving games and activities.  They have the best tasting food and the most intoxicating beverages.  Satyr parties will last for days.  Anyone who has sex with a satyr (yes, in this game there are female satyrs) WILL receive a sexually transmitted disease.  Please apply a modifier to anyone that receives a disease.  Anyone who gets drunk at a satyr party, runs the risk of losing control and doing things he would not normally not choose to do, like having sex with a satyr.

  13. Satyrs aren't in the Bible, but wisdom is.  It seemed fitting, so here's a few scriptures.
